One is that mobile gambling, the combination of online sports betting and iGaming, can more than make up for the shortfall in actual visitation gambling. But the downside of that for the casinos is they must share online revenues with their partners who help run the gambling apps. There are a couple of takeaways from those numbers. For April, a headline on Atlantic City’s revenue report was that while overall revenues for the month were $462.7 million, up 9.5% in same-month, year-over-year comparisons, revenue from on-premises gambling was down 1.6%, to $231.4 million, from April 2022.
